Vin Diesel and Paul Walker star as hot dudes who drive fast cars, apparently for the third or fourth time. I would never have given this kind of movie a look if it weren’t for the unusually good notices it received, but the critics really led me astray on this one. Granted, I’ve never seen a Fast & Furious movie before this, so maybe that explains why I was so confused — what the hell was this movie even about? In any case, I just didn’t care about anything happening on the screen before me. Tough guys showing off, really cheesy subplots involving children, sappy conversations about fathers, blah, blah, blah. Only good thing was a climactic car chase involving two supercharged vehicles dragging a massive bank vault through the streets behind them.
